The one and only: is it possible to make a duplicate or copy of the seal?

Looking ahead, we answer the main question: it is impossible to make and install a duplicate of the modern plant-made seals on the meter. First, each seal has a unique system of protection against counterfeiting. And second, if the fact of fraud is established, the opportunistic technician will be punished.  

Let's take a closer look at why you should not break the law and believe companies that offer to produce a duplicate seal for the gas, water, or electric meter. 

Unique design

The service provider chooses its own type of seal for each metering device. Of course, inspectors and supervisors are interested in ensuring that the device shows accurate information and that any attempts to tamper with the equipment are visible. Unique number

This is a mandatory element that guarantees the safety of the object and protection against counterfeiting. To prevent the information from being erased, all the data is marked by laser through the thickness of the surface. But, as experience has proven, the fact of the substitution is established very quickly. Break-in and theft attempts will be noticed in a matter of minutes. Administrative and criminal responsibility is stipulated for such actions. For example In Ukraine, the penalty for an attempt to "modify" the actual readings of the meter is up to 150,000 UAH.
